Loose stickers and washi tape have a way of taking over a bag, drawer, or planner pocket if you don't have a system for them. Bent sticker sheets and unraveling tape rolls aren't just annoying, they're avoidable. Here's how to actually keep your collection in good shape.
Use a laminated pouch for sticker sheets
Full sticker sheets get bent and creased more easily than almost anything else in a planner kit, so they need their own home. Our laminated vellum sticker pouches, like the Moon and Stars Laminated Vellum Sticker Pouch and Rainbow Heart Laminated Vellum Sticker Pouch, are laminated for durability so sheets slide in and out flat instead of getting crushed at the bottom of a bag.
Sort by season or by project
Instead of one giant pouch for everything, sort sticker sheets into a few smaller pouches by category: seasonal (like our Hocus Pocus Laminated Vellum Sticker Pouch for Halloween pieces), everyday functional stickers, and decorative die cuts. When everything has a designated pouch, you'll actually remember where things go when you're cleaning up after a planning session, instead of tossing everything into a junk drawer.
Keep washi tape rolls out of direct sunlight
Washi tape adhesive can weaken and patterns can fade with prolonged sun exposure, so store rolls in a drawer or closed pouch rather than leaving them out on a sunny desk. If you display your collection, rotate it out of direct light when you're not actively using it.
Store loose die cuts flat, not loose
Die cuts that have already been cut from their backing sheet are the easiest pieces to lose or bend since they have no sheet to anchor them. Keep them in a small laminated pouch like our Star Laminated Vellum Sticker Storage Pocket, or tuck them flat inside a pocket folder so they don't curl or crease while waiting to be used.
Don't overstuff one pouch
It's tempting to cram every sheet you own into a single pouch, but overstuffing causes creasing at the edges and makes it hard to find anything without digging. A few thinner, well-organized pouches will keep your collection in better shape long-term than one overflowing one.

Storing extra disc-bound pages
If your planner is disc-bound, keep a spare set of discs on hand for pages you've pulled out but want to save, like a finished month or a completed tracker. Loading them onto their own small set of discs keeps them flat and organized instead of loose in a drawer. Our Planner Discs collection has sizes small enough for exactly this kind of overflow storage.
